Annual Fund 2010-2011
The Fifth year of the Ipswich School Annual Fund looked to build on the success of the previous four years where over £140 000 has been donated and pledged by Old Ipswichians, Parents and Friends of the School. This includes superb support from the Friends of Ipswich School who have donated close to £50 000 to the Annual Fund from the funds raised from their annual event’s programme.
In 2010-11 the Annual Fund raised £30,000 towards the following projects:
Continued funding for our 2nd Foundation Bursary pupil
A Burco de luxe Gas Urn for the CCF and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
Quicksticks hockey set, string instruments, curtains for the Lower Prep, a Maypole and microphones for the Upper Prep Hall.
A cricket bowling machine, 5-a-side soccer goals and a lifecycle recumbent machine for the fitness suite
The Prep School Maypole and CCF pupils with the new Burco urn
Quicksticks at the Prep School
The Friends of Ipswich School agreed to fund the cricket bowling machine, quicksticks hockey set, string instruments, maypole and microphones for the Upper Prep. The other items have been funded by donations to the Annual Fund with a total of over £25 000 donated and pledged from 75 Old Ipswichians, Parents and Friends of the School.
