Black Magic Ball
Saturday, 30 May 2009
On Saturday the 30th May Trinity Park, at Suffolk Showground, was transformed into a magical setting to host the Friends of Ipswich School Bi-Annual Ball. After welcoming in 290 guests the evening was started with a sparkling reception in the courtyard with mouth watering canapés and a close up magician keeping everyone spellbound with his amazingly quick slight of hand magical tricks. In the background the music, all with a magical theme, was playing to further spellbind the guests into the world of make believe.

A fabulous four course meal soon followed with the magician visiting tables and a small magical gift for the guests.
Coffee and petit fours finished the meal nicely in time for a quick Heads and Tails game, an auction of six highly value able items and the top three prizes drawn for the Annual Draw.
The Smokin' Jackets Band started the dancing and the dance floor remained bursting at the edges until it was time to collect wands and cloaks and head home at 1am.
The Ball, including the auction, raised an amazing £9,000 and the Annual prize Draw raised £1,312. A fantastic total of £10,312 will be donated to the Annual Fund.
We would like to thank all our guests for coming and sharing such a wonderful magical evening with us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed organising it for you.
